These terms describe the basic rules for using Goblr as a private household recipe, meal-planning, and shopping-list app.
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Goblr, including the website, applications, and related services we provide for recipe management, meal planning, and shopping-list collaboration.
This draft is standard boilerplate for product development purposes and should be reviewed by legal counsel before production use.
You may use Goblr only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. If you use Goblr on behalf of an organization, household, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
You must be at least the age required by law to use the service in your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of unauthorized access or misuse.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create security risk, or expose Goblr or other users to harm.
Subject to these Terms, Goblr grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for your personal or internal household purposes.
You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, scrape, disrupt, or misuse the service except as permitted by applicable law.
You retain ownership of content you submit to Goblr, including recipes, notes, meal plans, shopping lists, photos, and feedback. You grant Goblr a limited license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the service.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit content and that your content does not violate the law or infringe the rights of others.
When you use import tools, third-party links, or integrations, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to access and use that source material. Goblr may process imported content to normalize recipes, ingredients, and instructions for your private household workflows.
Third-party services and websites are governed by their own terms and policies, and Goblr is not responsible for them.
You agree not to use Goblr to transmit unlawful, harmful, infringing, or deceptive content; probe or interfere with the security of the service; or attempt to access data that does not belong to you.
You also agree not to use automated means to extract data from Goblr or to overload the service in a way that degrades performance for others.
Goblr may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including during beta or early-stage development. We may also impose limits on certain features or access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, or operational needs.
We will generally try to provide reasonable notice for material adverse changes when practicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goblr is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.
We do not guarantee that recipe imports, conversions, suggestions, timers, or shopping-list outputs will always be complete, accurate, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goblr and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the service.
Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Goblr and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms will remain in effect until terminated. You may stop using Goblr at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access creates legal, security, or operational risk.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute-related provisions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction identified in your final legal review, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes should be resolved in the courts or dispute forum specified during that review.
Update this section with your governing law, venue, and any arbitration terms before launch.
